SUBJECT: BOGUS "RCIED JAMMERS" FOUND INSTALLED ON DIPLOMATIC VEHICLES IN GREEN ZONE
MESSAGE: IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF THE TASK FORCE THAT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF RADIO CONTROLLED IED DEFEAT JAMMING SYSTEMS INSTALLED IN VEHICLES IN THE AREA OF THE BAGHDAD GREEN ZONE WHICH ARE FAKE / PHONEY IN NATURE OR INSUFFICIENT IN FREQUENCY COVERAGE AND RF WATTAGE OUTPUT AND INCAPABLE OF DEFEATING KNOWN RCIED THREAT DEVICES. AFTER GATHERING OF PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE, EMAIL DOCUMENTATION, AND CONDUCTING REALISTIC TESTING WITH KNOWN THREAT DEVICES, THE TASK FORCE HAS DETERMINED THAT TWO MANUFACTURERS <ONE FROM THE UK, ONE FROM CHINA> HAVE KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY SOLD AND DELIVERED MULTIPLE JAMMING DEVICES WHICH HAVE BEEN ATTACHED TO ARMORED VEHICLES USED FOR DIPLOMATIC PROTECTION WITHIN THE GREEN ZONE. THE NAMES OF THE MANUFACTURERS ARE KNOWN TO TF VIPER AND WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY AUTHORIZED PERSON REQUESTING SUCH INFORMATION. ANY PERSONNEL UTILIZING JAMMING EQUIPMENT ARE WARNED TO VERIFY THE VALIDITY OF THEIR SYSTEMS AND SHOULD BE REMINDED THAT CELL PHONE JAMMERS ARE NOT RCIED DEFEAT JAMMING SYSTEMS.

TASK FORCE V.I.P.E.R.
Founded in 2002, members worked closely with DoD OSD IEDD TF (Now JIEDDO), NAVEODTECHDIV, MARCORSYSCOM, RDECOM, CECOM, and many other organizations, including teaming up with UXB and CTC to answer the original CREW requirements to provide an effective jamming system (WARLOCK) to protect troops from Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIED) which were the primary cause of death and injury in the Middle East theatre.
Today, we continue our mission and provide consultancy, training, system selection and integration, installation, support and service to the Electronic Warfare (EW) community - worldwide! Systems which we have specified, designed, installed and presently support protect everyone from Presidents of Countries, Executives, Soldiers, and the public-at-large from RCIED attack, as well as command-wire IED's, Vehicle Bourne IED's (VBIED) or "car bombs", Victim Initiated IED's (VIIED) or "suicide bombers" and all other forms of IED attack. We offer full support to EOD teams including EOD K-9, Explosives Detection Systems, and EOD Robotics.
The Task Force also focuses on C4ISR (Command and Control, Computers and Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) including the deployment of IED detecting Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAV), Cellular Intercept Monitoring Systems and Jammers. We also specialize in Technical Security Countermeasures (TSCM) for the detection and neutralization of transmitters, wiretaps, and contraband.
We maintain collective intelligence on all manufacturers in the industry and can offer a fair and impartial comparison of systems available in the marketplace. We have evaluated hundreds of systems and maintain a list of all manufacturers specs. We know who makes which equipment for who, its capabilities, the safety of the systems' usage, and its effectiveness. Don't be fooled! There are many unscrupulous people in this industry. Task Force V.I.P.E.R. provides RCIED defeat jammers and jamming sysems including c-ied and ied jam portable jammer, manpack, man pack and man portable RCIED jammers for jamming radio and remote controlled improvised explosive device jamming vehicles and prison jamming systems to jam cellular communications. The systmems we offer include Barrage, DDS, FPGA, Digital spot jammers and can be used for convoy jammers to defeat roadside IED's. VIPER Task Force also has cellular monitoring systems and cellular intercept systems for GSM intercept and cell phone monitoring.
